Apple News: No iTablet - No iSlate - its iPad

So. The day everyone has been anticipating in the tech world has come and gone and Apple Inc. has finally released from their tight lipped mouths the iPad. Like an iPod but bigger. And a little better.
Featuring a 9.7" not quite 1080p resolution screen and a souped up version of the iPhone OS this little guy is bound to make jet-setters lives a little bit better. Right? Lots of debate going on and whether this is polished enough for the masses, I won't lie. It could be better, and hopefully in the next 60 days until release Apple announces some better features. Ahhhheeemmmmm. APPLE. THE NEXT 60 DAYS!
It will vary in cost from $499 for the entry level model all the way to $829 for all the bells and whistles. PS dont skimp and not get the 3g, you will realize how stupid you were as soon as you leave your front porch.

Check Out Engadget for all the latest coverage on the new device.

Treat Yourself: Bicycles

So I recently stumbled upon this bicycle company based out of Italy that makes some killer bicycles. The company is Abici and their cruisers are by far my favorite city bikes I have seen. You can pick up his and her bicycles for less than a grand each. I never said they were affordable :) but remember you pay for what you get. Anywho, they will most likely get stolen before you get to ride yours anyway.

New Years Resolution: Ditch Cable (and Satellite)

Happy New Years everyone and here is a resolution for us all. Stop paying for TV. Want to know how? I'll cut to the chase. There are computers out there that you can buy on the cheap (less than $200) and will stream 1080P High Definition to your TV through HDMI. My favorite right now is the ACER Revo and by installing free software from XBMC will turn this puppy into an Entertainment Machine. So instead of paying for things that you could watch for free on the internet through HULU and other downloads. SAWEET. I have attached screenshots from XBMC below.
